 We have several varieties of blueberry bushes at our farm that will come and go during the month of July. We may have some days when we are in-between varieties so please check back each day for updates

Our homemade strawberry ice cream is now for sale at the farm! During the week, we offer our "FUN CUP" size for $1. On the weekends, we hand-dip the ice cream in waffle cones or cups, for your enjoyment - (5/4)

Evaporative Cooling - such extreme temperatures this early in the season will damage our existing blooms....sprinkling them with overhead water helps to cool the plants -(4/25)

We are thankful for the rain we received over the past few days. Today we started laying the drip line for the strawberries - (3/18/09)

Today we cut seed potatoes into quarters, so that they can be planted soon. The red potatoes, variety Pontiac, will be ready to dig in
late May - yummy! Farmer Steve also bought our onion seeds - yellow, white, and purple. (3/5/09)

It is time to start pruning our blueberry bushes. We do not expect a large crop this year but we hope that there will be a few berries for people to pick! This will only be our 2nd year of pick-your-own, so we are still in the early stages of successful yields. Farmer Steve has already pruned 2 rows and will continue to work until the job is complete- (2/27/09)
